Letter to Our Subscribers

Dear Subscribers,

We are excited to announce that Brain, Child will now be published monthly and will be delivered via email (our last print issue was Spring 2015). Starting in September you will receive your next issue, with links to exclusive essays, debates and archives and more. No matter where you are in your subscription, you will receive six additional monthly issues of Brain, Child. The monthly edition is for current subscribers only and will not be available to anyone else in the near future.

We have evolved into a flourishing online community on our website, as well as on Facebook and Twitter, with over half a million viewers per month. Our print subscriptions account for a very small fraction of this and the print format is no longer economically viable for us — shifting our focus to digital is our way of being able to bring you quality literature monthly instead of just once a quarter.

We will continue to publish our Annual Special Issue for Parents of Teens in print, and will be launching our eBook series in the coming months.

We believe you will experience the rich, expressive value you have come to expect from Brain, Child in the new monthly format and we are excited about some added collaborative features we will be announcing in the coming months.

We value your ongoing feedback as we move forward with these exciting next steps.

I thank you as always for your support of Brain, Child. –Marcelle
